Iranian chess players win 1st round in WJCC

TEHRAN, Nov. 14 (MNA) – Three Iranian chess players scored wins in the first round of the World Junior Chess Championship.

Three Iranian chess players, Sarasadat Khademalsharieh, Mohadeseh Alijanzadeh and Aryan Gholami notched up wins over their opponents in the first round of tournaments in the World Junior Chess Championship.

The 2017 World Junior Chess Championship takes place from November 12th to 26th in Tarvisio, Italy. This championship takes place in Swiss-system tournament through 11 rounds of competition.
